A year of change

You know it’s that time of the year again! Shoot me if I ever start with that again.

2011 has been a whirlwind year. Usually I can’t remember what happens the past year, I still can’t, but I know for a fact that the past 365 days have been some of the roughest I’ve ever been through. Some of you may or may not know, but I’ve been studying in Singapore for the past 5 or so months, since July, as the 27th Singapore Scholar.

Usually this time every year I’m always sitting in front of my then laptop, trusty drink by my side, and a creased brow from the impending writer’s block. This year is no different, I’m still in that same position, just a two hour flight from where I usually am. This year, I became a deejay. I became a debater. I became a scholar.

2011, you’ve been good to me.

So for 2012 dear readers, I wish all of you new adventures and achievements. And may the new (and apparent last one according to the Mayans) year be a blessed one.

Oh and before I forget, I always strive to make a resolutions for the new year, and this one is no different.

1. Do better in uni
2. Go back to the gym
3. Blog more often

That’s a much as I can remember. It’s a work in progress, so I might add in a couple of more depending on how ‘rajin’ I get in the first week of January

Here’s to how great 2011 was, and how I greater 2012 I know will be.

Cause Dad’s in Jakarta at the mo, and I’m in that, “Am I doing the right thing?” kind of moods.
